Mr. Kohler is a member of the: Minnesota State Bar Association, the Washington and Ramsey County Bar Associations, and the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, he is a volunteer panel attorney for Legal Assistance in Washington County. He also reviews and advises on numerous employee and employer-sponsored legal plans.

He is also chair of the 19th District Bar Association's fee arbitration committee. Mr. Kohler serves as a member of the Ramsey County Bar Association's attorney referral service. He is also a member of Teamsters Local 638 and a panel attorney for Union Plus Legal Services.
